Welcome / Croeso

Yew Tree Cottage was originally built around 1760 as a home for the minister of the local chapel. It was very much a family home then, with extra children welcomed into the family. We enjoy welcoming visitors to our home.

The house has had many ‘modernisations’ in the past and we have done our share. We have tried to keep the feel of the house without being slaves to the traditional. We have concentrated on keeping it natural and comfortable and hope you will like it.

Accommodation & Facilities

The guest accommodation consists of a self contained area with one twin room with wash basin upstairs, private bathroom and extra single bed on the ground floor plus a sitting area with TV. Here you have a view of the garden and our many visiting birds. We have a high chair and a cot and off road parking.

This is great mountain biking country and we can store your mountain bikes safely and you can wash them after rides.

We will not be fazed by muddy boots and wet gear but do ask guests to remove outdoor shoes when indoors. We regret that we do not take dogs.

We are open all year round.
